NOTICE OF SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING
Soaring Heights Charter School Board of Trustees
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a special public meeting of the Soaring Heights Charter School Board of Trustees will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
PURPOSE OF MEETING: The Board will convene to consider and take formal action to award a competitively bid contract for a new school roof.
A special meeting is required because the lowest responsible bidder requires a mandatory twenty-eight (28) day construction window to achieve substantial completion. Substantial completion must occur by August 14, 2026, to ensure the school facility is safe, compliant and operational for the return of students and staff. A delay in awarding this contract at a regularly scheduled meeting would make timely completion impossible, resulting in a disruption to the educational process.
