On behalf of the entire school community, I am delighted to welcome you to the Soaring Heights Charter School website. Soaring Heights was one of the 13 original charter schools in New Jersey. It opened its doors on September 1, 1997 in downtown Jersey City and relocated to Romar Avenue in Greenville in February 2004.
 
At Soaring Heights, teachers are involved in on-going communication training which allows them to build constructive relationships with children so as to strengthen the children’s abilities to work hard and take pride in their accomplishments. Over time, these relationships foster competence, confidence and mutual trust. They form the foundation upon which academic success and personal growth flourish. These skills develop slowly – one life-affirming decision at a time - and Soaring Heights is proud to be there to help launch your child on that journey.
